  1. Nice speeches on a beautiful afternoon! My daughter and I took the Metro down to hear them and we were glad we did. I asked around and those with me thought the crowd was at least 1000. I pressed a Park Service officer and he said a little shy of 1000, but a nice turn out for February!

  3. Considering what Obama has done to our country, how many people would show up now on a cold day in February to see him?

  5. I'm a 27 year old black Tea Party member. I couldn't make the rally on Saturday, because of time constraints in my work schedule. I love how progressives always want to turn the Tea Party into a race issue. There are plenty of "other than white" races involved in the movement, and plenty of white congressmen and women that the Tea Party wants thrown out of office during the coming elections. It isn't about race, it's about this country moving towards complete socialism. I don't agree with Bush's horrible spending policies either, but within his first year in office, Obama tripled the national debt...that's the cause for the outrage against the current president. If it was a race issue, Obama never would have been elected in the first place. It's his horrible spending habbit, his immoral way of driving down the dollar and forcing the country into complete bankruptcy. Anyone who can't see that needs to take a basic grade school math class. My neice, who's in grade school right now, saw a clip of Glenn Beck where he was showing the Debt Clock, and looked at me and said, "That's a lot of money." Even her, at ten years old, understands that. At the current rate of spending, this country won't survive Obama's first term. Every man, woman, and child in this country owes over $300,000 because of our debt. I wouldn't be able to pay that for 15 years at a 100 percent tax rate! We need to elect a congress that will cut this spending and bring this country out of debt and back to the America that is the greatest country in the world.
