St. Louis Area Tea Party Draws About 1500 People. In The Rain...On A Holiday! Great Job STL!! UPDATE: 3500 PEOPLE! estimate by park officials

I Just Got Home From Rennick Park In Washington MO. This Was The Site Of The St. Louis Tea Party Coalition's Independence Day Celebration/ Protest. We Had A Great Time. There Were Speeches By Jim Hoft of Gateway Pundit.com and Dana Loesch Of 97.1 FM Talk's "The Dana Show" Among Others. However The Largest Applause Of The Day Came Not As A Reaction To A Speaker But Instead For A Train Loaded With Coal That Passed By The Park During The Protest. The People At This Protest Are Not Naive About Where Their Electricty Comes From. And With The Left's Recent Attacks On The Coal Industry We Felt A Round Of Applause Was Warranted. But, The Best Part For Me Was Networking With Fellow Conservatives And Reading The Various Protest Signs. The Best Of Which I Took Pictures Of And Are Posted Here.
