UPDATE: Local Sports Guy's Refuse To Apologize To Rush Limbaugh.

In my previous post there is a video of 2 local sports radio guys spreading lies about Rush Limbaugh. At the time the 1st video was made, I had never heard the quote they cited and was unable to address it. After a week of research we find out that this quote and others recently attributed to Rush ARE FLAT OUT FABRICATIONS.

Jeff Gordon claims to have issued a correction on the air. Although when I press him on it he refuses to acknowledge that the quote is not real. He and his partner also refused to take this opportunity to apologize.

He goes on to try to put the burden of proof on me. "Who made it up?" It doesn't matter who made it up. It doesn't change the fact that Rush never said it!

  1. He says that he apologized for using a quote that is now in dispute - and he admits that to you on camera. What more do you expect? What more do you want. I think his apology was totally reasonable, and I'm not sure why you continued to press the issue. Also, while I can appreciate your calling these guys to the carpet, I appreciate a whole lot less the snarky and disrespectful manner in which you did it. Next time, show some class.

  2. You didn't hear his little toadie there being a jerk about it? Thats why I continued to press the issue. And when I press him on it, we see that he refuses STILL to admit he knows that the quote is Bullsh*t.

  3. Here's problem Brian, they will say anything they want, whether it's true or not and not care and then have someone has to force them to correct themselves. Also, who was disrespectful to whom?

  4. Hey man... I completely agree with you... but your first problem is that you're actually listening to the crap radio that comes across the airwave at the 590 mark on the AM dial... Listen to 1380 or 97.1 fm if you really want decent radio...

  6. I agree, Adam. His sidekick was a clown. But Jeff seemed pretty reasonable and respectful. And again, he admitted he had a apologized for using a quote that is in dispute.

  7. and just sayin', it doesn't matter how his toadie responded. Don't let your opposition dictate your actions. Stooping to his level doesn't help your argument.
