A School House Rock Reminder For The Dems.

That pesky Constitution, always in the way of the Dem's plans. Not that they'll let that stop them.

  1. How do you expect anyone to take you seriously, when you are so often demonstrably wrong? The so called Slaughter move, has been used many many time in the past. Here is just a small example "When Republicans took power in 1995, they soon lost their aversion to self-executing rules and proceeded to set new records under Speaker Newt Gingrich (R-Ga.). There were 38 and 52 self-executing rules in the 104th and 105th Congresses (1995-1998), making up 25 percent and 35 percent of all rules, respectively. Under Speaker Dennis Hastert (R-Ill.) there were 40, 42 and 30 self-executing rules in the 106th, 107th and 108th Congresses (22 percent, 37 percent and 22 percent, respectively). Thus far in the 109th Congress, self-executing rules make up about 16 percent of all rules."

  2. my dear pinko-commie;
    Would you care to be specific on your insinuations? Were any of them dealing with 1/6 of the economy? Did any of them affect every single person in the republic in such an obtuse way? You are comparing apples to fruit stands.
    Were those 'self executing' rules right? Of course not! So why take it to this extreme? Why not take the high road?
    My dear pinko-commie, I know your comprehension skills are such that you require visual aids, alas my 4 year old daughter only has red crayons.

    You seem to be an authority on writing with crayons.

  4. Just what I thought...the pinko-commie can't even think for himself. Jmmy O'keefer has to plagiarize other people's comments. (From Roll Call: http://wilsoncenter.org/index.cfm?topic_id=1412&fuseaction=topics.publications&doc_id=190504&group_id=180829)
    He has to have someone else think for him. But then again, does that really surprise anyone? That is all these bum commies want! Other people's thoughts and things without regard. Sir, screw you!
