2009 Tom Schweich Quoted: “I stand by… that [McCaskill] donation”
Tom Schweich is running in the Republican primary for Missouri Auditor against Allen Icet on August 3.
Tom Schweich gave $500 to liberal Democrat Claire McCaskill.
The Schweich camp’s explanation for this contribution doesn’t add up.
Schweich recently refused to answer questions about this donation on camera.
This is not the first Schweich has declined to repudiate his donation to liberal Democrat Claire McCaskill.
In this election cycle, on May 15, 2009, he was quoted in the St. Louis Beacon: “I stand by… that [McCaskill] donation”
