Texas Textbooks: A Blue Print For Taking Back America.
This is a perfect example of how we are going to take this country and this culture back from the liberals. Just a handful of patriots are making a HUGE difference in this case. Imagine what we could do if we all got involved.
This is a HUGE victory for our country, conservatives and students! If libs had their way with what goes into text books there would be: - a distortion of American and world history and our role in shaping the world -spin, opinions and not the facts about American exceptionalism -a lack of pride in America -an emphasis on how white people suppress all other races -chapters on how we are destroying the planet -tolerance and acceptance of alternative lifestyles as normal -a liberal social agenda pushed -a takeaway that we should feel guilty for our successes -etc. I really didn't think we would be the victors in the Texas text-book wars! I am THRILLED!
Everyone needs to get involved with their school districts whether they have students in the schools or not. I have talked to many high school students and you would be horrified by what they are being taught. There is a Contemporary American Literature teacher in O'Fallon, Mo who makes her classes watch every Michael Moore movie. What that has to do with Contemporary American Literature, I will never understand. Why the parents aren't holding that principal's feet up to the fire, I don't understand. This is at a school who is in danger because they are not qualifying under NCLB.

HUGE!! This report brought me to tears. Some days the fight seems so futile, but then I come home from a Patriot forum (just happened to be about RTTT) to this and instant re-energized. I am so excited about this! I was so concerned about the outcome of this battle and I just couldn't be more THRILLED!! *We've only begun to fight!*
How exactly is it a huge victory by ripping out one of the founding fathers from history? How can you call yourselves Americans if you support removing Thomas Jefferson from the textbooks?
Hey, I didnt hear about Thomas Jefferson being left out. If thats true I hope its only an oversight. There will be another meeting before this thing is final. So maybe they'll address it then. Could you post a link. I'd like to know if thats true.
